How do I obtain a copy of an image?

Photographic copies can be obtained from Tower Hamlets Local Studies and Archives (there is a charge for this service) or a maximum of 5 digital copies can be emailed to you. If you would like to use the images for publication or display please contact us at localhistory@towerhamlets.gov.uk

Description:

1909, A view of Manchester Road Isle of Dogs, taken from almost opposite Christ Church. The shop with the white blinds was a general store on the corner of Billson Street. The two ladies in the left foreground are Mrs Florence Giffen (nee Weston) and her sister Mrs Miriam Inman. In the pram is Edith Giffen and the babe-in-arms is Minnie Inman. The Giffens lived at No. 205 Manchester Road. From Mr and Mrs Devlin
