How do I obtain a copy of an image?
Photographic copies can be obtained from Tower Hamlets Local Studies and Archives (there is a charge for this service) or a maximum of 5 digital copies can be emailed to you. If you would like to use the images for publication or display please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Isle of Man 1900s
Isle of Man, from the Isle of Dogs, - members of a group from St Johns Church on holiday, about 1900. The vicar is a Mr Livesey, and the boy on the right is Frederick Vaughan Pearson. He was born in 1889, in East Ferry Road, one of a family of five boys and three girls; their father was an engineer. Fred Pearson attended St John's Church School and spent a lot of his leisure time involved in church activities - Band of Hope, Sunday School, Amateur Dramatics and excursions.
