Honerton Farm Kent 1940s

Image Number:

Island History Trust Image Collection

1940s. Mrs Sarah Morris (nee Harris, later Barden); Miss Rose Marsh (later Wood), and Mrs Elizabeth Marsh (nee Harris), sitting outside a hop hut door at Honerton Farm (between Brenchley and Horsmonden) in Kent. Probably Mrs Morris and Rose were on a weekend visit to Mrs Marsh; it may be Sunday morning, as Rose still has her hair in curlers, before going down to the ‘Halfway House' - The Lag pub. by Mrs R.
