How do I obtain a copy of an image?
Photographic copies can be obtained from Tower Hamlets Local Studies and Archives (there is a charge for this service) or a maximum of 5 digital copies can be emailed to you. If you would like to use the images for publication or display please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org

An outing from the ‘Ironmonger's Arms' August 1922, to Southend. The pub stood in Westferry Road between ‘The Vulcan” and ‘The Magnet and Dewdrop' (now ‘The Telegraph”). In the back row, fourth from right, is Sam Kinchin; in the third row, sixth from left, is Mr Edward McSweeney; fifth from right: John Devlin; third from right: Fred Blackabee. The photograph was published in The East London Advertiser, on 20th September 1974, when Mr Edward McSweeney was living in Granville House, East India Dock Road. by Marie Vincent
