An outing from the ‘Ironmonger's Arms' August 1922, to Southend. The pub stood in Westferry Road between ‘The Vulcan” and ‘The Magnet and Dewdrop' (now ‘The Telegraph”). In the back row, fourth from right, is Sam Kinchin; in the third row, sixth from left, is Mr Edward McSweeney; fifth from right: John Devlin; third from right: Fred Blackabee.
