How do I obtain a copy of an image?

Photographic copies can be obtained from Tower Hamlets Local Studies and Archives (there is a charge for this service) or a maximum of 5 digital copies can be emailed to you. If you would like to use the images for publication or display please contact us at localhistory@towerhamlets.gov.uk

1926, in the back yard of No 3 Manilla Street, E14. Standing left to right: Ivy Judge, Jess Judge, Dick Winzar (stevedore), Alfred Judge (boiler-maker), Annie Curtis and Flo Judge. The bridegroom is George Lee (Railway man) and the bride is Elizabeth Judge. Seated in front: Eileen Winzar (later Hogsden) and Joan Goodram. All the women worked at C&E Mortons in Westferry Road. The ceremony had taken place at St. Luke’s Church. The couple emigrated to Australia in 1952 and Mrs Lee is still living in Brisbane.
