How do I obtain a copy of an image?
Photographic copies can be obtained from Tower Hamlets Local Studies and Archives (there is a charge for this service) or a maximum of 5 digital copies can be emailed to you. If you would like to use the images for publication or display please contact us at email@example.com
Ben Garland 1920s
Ben Garland, early 1920s. Ben Lived at No. 8 Cahir Street until he married Win Edwards, also of Cahir Street. He worked for the London Keg and Drum Company for 44 years until he died aged 58, in 1966. He had attended British Street School, and later was an elder at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Westferry Road. He and his wife had two daughters, Patricia and Maureen. by Mrs E. Platt
