The Needham children, of No. 83 Stebondale Street, in c1917 or 1918. Emily (b.1910) with William, May, Kit and baby John. This photograph was sent to the children's father 38117 Needham W.C. , Medical Hut “L” 1BD, A.P.O S/24, BEA France, and he wrote back to them on February 22nd 1918. \Dear Willie: I am very pleased indeed with your photos both the school one and the group but rather disappointed at not seeing your mother in the latter. Tell her that the family is not complete without her. You and your brothers have all come out fine. What are you laughing at? Was it something that Em said or did? She is growing fast and so is Carrie. John too looks like Lipton's pig. Even Maisy Donated by John Needham
