All Saints Church, Poplar.
Christmas Day, 1949 in the garden of All Saints Church Poplar. From left to right: Jean McGuiness, Arthur Shaw, Emily Shaw (nee Webb), Ted Fox, Harry Shaw, Ada Shaw (nee Fourneaux), Ada Fourneaux, Margaret Crawley, Charles Fourneaux, and Marjorie Fourneaux. The Shaws lived at No. 9 Hammond House Glengall Road, and all their family weddings were on Christmas Day except for those of Arthur and Win. This was done to combine a family party and wedding celebration and save expense! Arthur Shaw senior worked for a coal merchants on Calder Wharf; Harry Shaw was a carpenter at Porter and Delaneys, builders, next to Montague Meyers in Millwall Docks. Donated by Mr and Mrs Shaw
