How do I obtain a copy of an image?
Photographic copies can be obtained from Tower Hamlets Local Studies and Archives (there is a charge for this service) or a maximum of 5 digital copies can be emailed to you. If you would like to use the images for publication or display please contact us at email@example.com
Isle of Dogs
Isle of Dogs, 1918. Spring wedding. Bride, Anna Wright of No. 256 Manchester Road; groom, Jack Vine of Glengall Road. In her dark bonnet beside groom, his mother Mrs Vine; bride's mother Emma beside bride with John Justice on her lap (her grandson); second row on right, Emma Justice. The groom died in November of the same year. The bride had a baby girl. She (Ann) kept a coffee shop for a living at one time, on the corner of Stebondale Street opposite Skeels. She later remarried and lived in Suffolk. Also includes: Back row 6th from left, Mrs Lou Vine, 7th Mr Vine. Third row, 4th from left, Mrs Charlotte Wright, 6th from left, Mr Ted Wright, 7th, Miss Alice Johnson and 12th, Mrs Emma Justice.
