West Ferry Road?
An outing to Clacton on the 14th September, 1930, from Joseph Squires’, the pawnbrokers, in Westferry Road. The staff included Joseph Squires, his son , George Freen, Ernest Farman, George Powis, Leonard Taylor and “the warehouse boy”. Alan Davison says: On the far left is my late uncle Albert (Nob) Davison, who ran Davison’s garage and road haulage business in Westferry Road with my father, the late George Davison. Nob later married Joseph Squires’ daughter Kate. I know Nob and my father regularly went on outings with Joseph Squires - motorbike rides, scrambling over Box Hill, football, etc.” Donated by Bob Farman
