Chapel House Street 1930s
Sydney, Joan and William Moyse, with young brother Alfred, in the back garden of their house in Chapel House Street, E14. This house lay to the right of the alleyway leading into Hesperus Crescent (in the background). At the time (1930s) there were steps leading up and over the railway line which ran from Maconochies, in Westferry Road, between the gardens and into the docks.
