Room Hire

Do you want to hold a meeting or training session? Then why not use the facilities at your local Idea Store. Each Idea Store has Learning Labs that are available for hire. 

Who can hire the labs?

Labs are available for hire to local businesses, organisations and individuals.

How much does it cost?

At Idea Stores Bow, Chrisp Street , Whitechapel, Local History Library, Bethnal Green Centre and Shadwell centre the fee for hiring a Learning Lab is £25 plus VAT per hour.

Charges for hiring a Learning Lab at Idea Store Canary Wharf, Dance Studio, Complementary Therapy Suite and other specialist facilities are at the manager's discretion and start from £50 plus VAT per hour.

There is a 50% discounted rate on room hire charges for charities, community and voluntary groups in Tower Hamlets.

What facilities are available?

A Learning Lab can accommodate between 12 and 20 people, with some up to 50 and offers the use of an overhead projector and an interactive whiteboard.

Idea Store Bow can also offer a Computing Lab for hire and for your comfort a café.

Idea Store Whitechapel

Idea Store Whitechapel can also offer a Computing Lab for hire as well as a café for your comfort.

What provisions are there for people with disabilities?

All of our Idea Stores are fully accessible for people who use wheelchairs. There are lifts, toilets for people with disabilities, induction loops and various computing equipment and software available.
