Have you always wanted to learn how to paint, try your hand at drawing, or create your own ceramic or mosaic masterpieces for the home? or perhaps you have a flair for design, and want to hone your artistic skills? Our Art and Design courses provide a fun and relaxing environment, and are run at different times of the day and including Saturday, for all ages and levels of experience.

Learn Art and Design Yourself
Develop your style and explore materials and techniques. Try your hand at drawing, painting, collage making and much more. 

Floral Art and Flower Arranging
Make a selection of flower arrangements from using seasonal fruit and flowers. As well as traditional arrangements, you can make table and candle arrangements.

Jewellery Making
Get to know tools and techniques to make your own beautiful jewellery. You will discover how to pierce, file, polish and solder your pieces. Our enamel classes also cover basic metal-working techniques and progress to advanced techniques including cloisonné and champleve.

Painting and Drawing
Develop your own personal style and explore a wide range of materials and techniques.

Ceramics and Mosaics
Discover the world of ceramics, mosaics and pottery. In our pottery classes progress from throwing pots, pinch potting and coiling to developing an understanding of making and finishing techniques. In mosaic making learn to cut with handheld tools, space pieces correctly, cement and grout and continue to develop your skills and creative techniques

Printmaking
Explore monoprinting and other screen-printing techniques including how to use colour in your prints. You can progress to preparing your own photo stencils and working on your own ideas.

Stained Glass
At our Stained Glass courses use ready-stained glass to acquire the basic skills of making stained glass panels. Discover how to cut glass to shape and fix using lead and other metals

Family Art and Design
Get your children involved in family art and learn about drawing, painting, collage making and other art techniques in a safe and stimulating environment.
