Woodwork Skills
From getting your hands on the right tools to using the correct techniques, our 'Get Started in Woodwork' will familiarise you with woodwork basics such as woodwork joints, types of wood and their uses. Progress to 'Improve your Woodworking Skills' and work at a more advanced level.
Once you at the stage where you just need tips and guidance with your skills, come and work on your own project at out 'Workshop in Woodwork' and 'Woodwork Club'.
Learn essential safety, skills training and progress to the use of heavy floor-standing machinery in our 'Wood Machining Safety and Skills Workshop', which includes pillar drills, a circular saw, planer-thicknesser, morticer and band saw. An in-house certificate will be issued and your name added to the list of authorised users.
