Childcare for Students
Crèches
If your child is aged between six months and five years old, you may be interested in using the crèches at the Idea Store Whitechapel and the Shadwell Centre.
The crèches are available to all children in this age range whose parents or carers are attending daytime courses at these sites.
Places are limited and are offered on a first come first served basis.
Each crèche is registered and inspected by OFSTED and staffed by experienced childcare workers who will encourage and promote the well being and development of each child through carefully planned activities including art and crafts, imaginary play, dressing up, games etc.
Crèche fees do apply and you must check that there is an available place in the crèche.
Before you enrol you will need to complete an application form for the crèche, which is available from the crèche sites during term time. If you need help or information about getting a crèche place for your child you can contact Pat Ayres on 0207 364 0899 or 07985474617.
