  • Home delivery library service to housebound individuals

  • Visits to day centres, lunch clubs and sheltered accommodation to provide reminiscence materials and therapy collections, or visit individuals as appropriate

  • Library and information services to patients in Mile End Hospital, Bancroft Unit & Tower Hamlets Centre for Mental Health

  • A wide range of library materials is available for all age groups, including large print books, talking books, music CDs and community information, and in community languages including Bengali / Sylheti, Urdu, Vietnamese, Punjabi, Gujarati and Hindi

  • A range of courses in community venues

  • Staff and vehicles are available to publicise library and lifelong learning services at community festivals and fun days
