One of the most successful films of 2006. Sequel to Dhoom, but this time it's bigger, it's faster and it's better. The cat and mouse game grips Inspector Jai Dixit who leaves no stone unturned to find maverick international thief known only as 'A'. Brilliant choreography and cutting edge action, which is rare to see in Indian films, are highly entertaining. Must see film to get insight into which direction popular Indian cinema is heading.

Grapes of Wrath (1940)

During the Great Depression, an Oklahoma family lose their farm and they decide to move to California to find work. We watch their journey as they travel towards what they hope will be a new beginning. A truly great film. If you haven't already read the novel, do so.

Spirited Away (2001)

A young girl, Chichiro, and her parents make a stop at a seemingly deserted restaurant on the way to their new house in the suburbs. Her parents start eating the lavish feast that is set out, but Chichiro feels uneasy and doesn't eat anything. As night falls, she discovers that her parents have been turned into pigs and that the surrounding town is inhabited by Japanese gods and spirits. While Chichiro works in the bath house, she must find a way to stop her parents from becoming one of the meals in the restaurant. Another classic from studio Ghibli.
