A collection of multi-sensory story packs are now available for loan to parents, carers and teaching staff.

Multi-sensory stories are written specially for those with the most profound learning difficulties. They offer a way to enjoy a story without understanding the words. 

If your child has Severe Learning Difficulties or Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, why not try one of the multi-sensory story-packs at your Idea Store?  They can be borrowed like any other book or you can sit with your child and tell the story-pack in the library.

Details of available stories can be found on the library catalogue, using the keyword search "tactile story". 

The collection is kept at Idea Store Whitechapel, but can be requested and borrowed from any Idea Store or library.
