Michael Rosen

Michael Rosen was born in London on May 7 1946, he is a writer and broadcaster and became the Children's Laureate in 2007.

Michael Rosen has written plays and lots of poetry, his first collection of poetry for children was called 'Mind Your Own Business'. Michael Rosen has worked in BBC Radio Drama, with BBC Children's TV and School's Television. Currently he is performing in schools, art festivals and tours along with lecturing at London Metropolitan University, working on BBC Radio and TV as well as contributing to 'The Guardian' newspaper.
