Creative Writing Workshop with Sufiyah Ahmed [ages 7 - 11]
Monday 17 February, 3 - 4pm
Come along to our workshop to help with your submission to the Tower Hamlets Creative Writing Competition. This year’s theme is ‘Extraordinary’. Sufiyah is the author of the Rosie Raja books. In this workshop, Sufiya will focus on helping you structure a short story.

Dragon’s Den

Let’s celebrate Chinese New Year by creating our own mythical dragons that represents, strength, good fortune and power.

Spring Watch [ages 4+]
Monday 17 February, 3 - 4pm
Jump into spring and zoom into the Idea store at Canary Wharf to have some fabulous half term fun. We will be making Buzzing Bees and lovely Ladybirds for you to fly home with.

Creative Writing Workshop with Richy K Chandler [ages 7 – 11]
Thursday 20 February, 3 - 4pm
Come along to our workshop to help with your submission to the Tower Hamlets Creative Writing Competition. This year’s theme is ‘Extraordinary. Richy is a writer, illustrator and comic creator with huge experience at leading workshops in making comics and graphic novels. This workshop will help you with character development, story planning and writing as well as well as beginning to create a comic strip using your own characters.

LEGO Explorers

Are you a LEGO expert? Do you like inventing things? Come along and use your imagination to build characters from your favourite books. Fun for all the family!

Creative Writing Workshop with Adam Baron [ages 7 – 11]
Wednesday 19 February, 3 - 4pm
Come along to our workshop to help with your submission to the Tower Hamlets Creative Writing Competition. This year’s theme is ‘Extraordinary’. Adam is the author of six highly acclaimed novels for young people and he also teaches Creative Writing at Kingston University. This workshop will be fun and will leave you enthusiastic for reading and writing, but also with a clear understanding of how stories work.

Creative Writing Workshop with Chitra Soundar [ages 7 – 11]
Tuesday 18 February, 3 - 4pm
Come along to our workshop to help with your submission to the Tower Hamlets Creative Writing Competition. This year’s theme is ‘Discover’. Chitra is the author of many books including the Sona Sharma series. In this workshop Chitra will show how ideas can be plucked out of the world around us to create your own stories.
