Creative Writing Workshop with Chitra Soundar [ages 7 – 13]
Wednesday 18 February, 3 - 4pm

Come along to our workshop to help with your submission to the Tower Hamlets Creative Writing Competition. This year’s theme is ‘Lost and Found. Chitra is the author of many books including the Sma Sharma series. In this workshop Chitra will show how ideas can be plucked out of the world around us to create your own stories.

Celebrate Chinese New Year! Join our Lego Session to create your own Fire Horse. Build a strong, fierce, bold horse and tell us what adventure it will be going on.

Come along to our workshop to help with your submission to the Tower Hamlets Creative Writing Competition. This year’s theme is ‘Lost and Found’. Adisa is a celebrated performance poet known for his engaging poetry and workshops.

Creative Writing Workshop with Josh Lacey [ages 7 – 13]
Monday 16 February, 3-4pm

Come along to our workshop to help with your submission to the Tower Hamlets Creative Writing Competition. This year’s theme is ‘Lost and Found’. Josh is the author of forty children’s books which range from picture books – The Pet Potato – to middle-grade novels like A Dog Called Grk. His most recent series is the Time Travel Twins – thrilling adventure stories set in different historical periods: the Vikings, the Anglo-Saxons, the Romans, Boudicca, the Stone Age, the Maya.

Gary Northfield is a cartoonist and author, best known for his comic strip "Derek the Sheep" and the children's book series "Julius Zebra.". He has regularly worked for esteemed magazines such as The Beano, The Phoenix, National Geographic Kids and The Dandy.

Karen McCombie is a renowned author of stories that are heartwarming and engaging. Her latest book is WORLD OF WANDA and is Karen’s 104th published book.

Come along to our workshop to help with your submission to the Tower Hamlets Creative Writing Competition. This year’s theme is ‘Lost and Found. Adam is the author of six highly acclaimed novels for young people, and he also teaches Creative Writing at Kingston University. This workshop will be fun and will leave you enthusiastic for reading and writing, but also with a clear understanding of how stories work.
