Improvement Works at Idea Store Canary Wharf

Exciting changes are underway!

We're creating a new and improved children's library, adding more study space and improving facilities at Idea Store Canary Wharf. Thank you for your patience during this upgrade – it will be worth the wait!

The main Idea Store Canary Wharf is now closed for refurbishment but a very limited service is provided from a temporary location next door (The former Post Office).

PLEASE NOTE: Because of the works RESERVES will not be available to pick up at Idea Store Canary Wharf. You will be given an alternative pick-up location. This will go back to normal when works are finished.

There are no printing facilities at the Children's library.

UPDATE December 2025: 

We are getting towards the end of the refurbishment works, we expect the main Idea Store to reopen in February, dates to be confirmed. In the meantime, we will continue to operate a limited service from the Children's library.
